Dali’s t30 low-power (30 dBm, 1 W) quad-band remote transceiver is designed for indoor applications and bi-directionally transfers four wireless bands over a single optical SMF fiber (Single Mode Fiber) at 6 Gb/s with optical link budget from 15dBo to 30dBo. It also accommodates 1 Gb/s Ethernet backhaul.
The t30 connects to Dali’s tHost® head-end in a star, daisy-chain, or hybrid star/daisy chain configuration. Dali’s ability to daisy-chain remotes reduces fiber requirements and installation costs. The t30 incorporates a fail-safe optical bypass switch and can be configured with a loop-back fiber that ensures the network will continue to operate if a remote fails or a fiber is damaged or severed.
Like all Dali remotes, the t30 contains digital signal processing, routing, network switching capabilities, and accommodates network management, channelization, Wi-Fi and camera integration, security and public safety, and customer-specific applications.
The t30 employs Dali’s digital equalization and linearization circuits that provide best-in-class error vector magnitude, and very low additive system noise. It is also silent as it requires no fans and measures only 12.9 x 18.9 x 4.6 in., making it easy to install in space-critical locations. t30 monitoring and control can be performed locally via the Ethernet craft ports or remotely through the tHost.
