Dali’s t43 high-power (43 dBm, 20 W) dual-band remote transceiver is designed for outdoor applications and bi-directionally transfers two wireless bands over a single optical SFP fiber (Single Mode Fiber) at 6 Gb/s with optical link budget from 15dBo to 30dBo. It can be easily combined with a second unit to create a compact, integrated quad-band transceiver.
The t43 connects to Dali’s tHost™ head-end in a star, daisy-chain, or hybrid star/daisy chain configuration. Dali’s ability to daisy-chain remotes reduces fiber requirements and installation costs. The t43 incorporates a fail-safe optical bypass switch and can be configured with a loop-back fiber that ensures the network will continue to operate if a remote fails or a fiber is damaged or severed.
Like all Dali remotes, it contains digital signal processing, routing, network switching capabilities, and accommodates network management, channelization, Wi-Fi and camera integration, security and public safety, and customer-specific applications. Monitoring and control can be performed locally via the Ethernet craft port or remotely through the tHost unit.
Each high-power RF port utilizes high rejection filters/duplexes for minimum interference.The t43’s RF power amplifiers use patented adaptive equalization, digital pre-distortion algorithims, and HPA’s operating in a Doherty configuration, resulting in best-in-class error vector magnitude, efficiency, and very low additive system noise. Its high efficiency results in low power consumption and the dual-band unit measures only 10.8 x 28 x 6.5 in.
